Solidarity City May Day March -

On February 21st, Toronto City Hall reaffirmed its promise to providing services to residents without full immigration status. We will continue to build a Solidarity City where communities work together to ensure justice and dignity for all residents. The history of Access Without Fear in Toronto is a long one and on May Day let us march to celebrate our victories and commit to continued struggle.

Coordinated Language Assessment and Referral System (CLARS) Information Session -

The Toronto North LIP Settlement, Language, and Orientation work-group will be holding an information session regarding the new Coordinated Language Assessment and Referral System (CLARS). CIC and MCI have launched a pilot project to test the benefits of a harmonized approach to language assessment and referral for newcomers. Representatives from CIC and MCI will be on hand to help explore the new model of assessment and referrals and its implementation in Toronto.
